Studies have shown that the brainwave behavior of people who do not sleep at night is similar to the brainwaves of adults who sleep regularly
Exam ahead, syllabus is still much left or some big office work, next day deadline. When faced with such a situation, a simple sentence comes out of our mouth – ‘No problem, I will stay up all night to cover it.’Staying up all night studying or finishing office work is normal for many.
In the world of freelancing and remote jobs, working late nights has become a habit for some. But a new study has bad news for people who regularly wake up at night. According to researchers in the Journal of Neuroscience, one night of waking up to work increases the age of the brain by almost a few years!
A total of 134 men and women aged 19 to 39 were placed in intensive care under the Journal of Neuroscience researchers. The researchers got this result by testing them there. This information was determined by comparing the MRI of some people who regularly sleep well with the MRI scan of people who suffer from regular sleep problems or are unable to sleep at night due to work.
Studies have shown that the brainwave behavior of people who do not sleep at night is similar to the brainwaves of adults who sleep regularly. That is, the effect of working awake at night on brain waves. That’s why even at a young age, not sleeping at night can make the brain look like an old one.According to German researcher Eva-Maria Elmenhorst, ‘sleep deprivation alters brainwaves significantly. So that the young brain starts behaving much like the brain of the old.’

The need for sleep in human daily life cannot be overstated. Sleep plays a major role in human thinking and memory. And with that rest every organ inside and outside the body rejuvenates itself. The rest required by the body prepares the body for the new day.
But hopefully, this change is not permanent. Rather, regular sleep and body care can change this condition. Because, through sleep, the damaged neurons of our brain rest. As a result, they also regain their previous performance.
Note: Doctors are among the most wakeful and irregular sleepers in the world. And the research on 134 people is confusing news for 7 billion people.
